Little Beans Childcare Mileoak Christmas Fayre🎄⛄️

The Cake Suite is excited to announce that we will be at the Mileoak Christmas Fayre on the 14th December 2019, starting at 10am and ends at 2pm.

The christmas Fayre is a fundraiser event for The Chestnut Tree House which is the children’s hospice for East and West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and South East Hampshire and cares for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years old with progressive life-shortening conditions.

We will have a stall there selling our Christmassy bakes along with lot’s of other amazing local businesses, so there will be lot’s of fun and different stalls around and all for a great cause.

The Fayre is being held at:

Mileoak Community Centre , Chalky Road, BN41 2WF

It would be amazing to see as many people as possible and the perfect way to get into the christmas spirit!

A Brownie Twist!

Personalised Brownie Slabs

i’ve been busy working hard in The Cake Suite kitchen creating new products to add to our menu, specifically focusing on brownies!

I mean who doesn’t love brownies?!

The Cake Suite’s newest product is ‘Personalised Brownie Slabs’.  You have a choice of the below flavours for your Brownie slab:

– Triple Chocolate

– Terry’s Chocolate orange

– Malteser

– After Eight

You can then choose a colour for the hand piped border to go around the edge of the brownie and finally you can have a edible personalised message/name/initial/age to go in the middle of the brownie slab to make it extra personal to you or as a gift to that lucky someone. This brownie can be cut into 6 big brownies, 12 medium brownies or 24 mini brownies!

Wedding Cake Designing 2020

As the end of 2019 is just around the corner and wedding season is nearly over I have begun designing and creating new designs for 2020 weddings. I will gradually be previewing these designs as the months go on and here is my first design…

Rustic Fault Line Wedding Cake

This beautiful buttercream cake involves the newest ‘cake trend’ going around at the moment which is called a Fault Line cake, this design is featured in the middle tier where you can see the white roses appearing from the middle layer of the cake. I absolutely love this look, something a bit different but so elegant. The grey buttercream really compliments the gorgeous fresh white roses making the white colour pop. I decided to add white drips onto the top and bottom tier which i think ties the whole white and grey theme together. For finishing touches i added metallic dark gold edible paint along the top and bottom of each tier and onto the drips too and topped it off with a classy ‘Mr&Mrs’ topper which you can’t go wrong with in my opinion!

Keep your eyes peeled for more 2020 wedding cake designs as lot’s more will be coming soon.

Thank you for reading.

best wishes,

Rhiannon 🙂
